AltoBeam announced the official release of the first generation IoT Wi-Fi chip with part number ATBM6421. ATBM6421 integrates a low-power MCU processor and IEEE 802.11 b/g/n RF and baseband, it supports built-in wireless network and TCP/IP protocol stack. It can implement Wi-Fi network function independently with an external SPI flash memory. ATBM6421 is housed with 5mm*5mm, QFN 32pin package and supports a variety of peripheral interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI, and GPIO. Wi-Fi data transmission can be achieved by AT commands.
ATBM6421 could be used in smart home, smart appliance, industrial control and other applications. It supports mainstream domestic and international IoT cloud platforms, providing customers a high cost-effective and short development cycle IoT Wi-Fi solution.
